The Shire Hall is a multi-functional building used for community hires such as parties, wedding receptions, fund raising events, and weekly classes. It is also used as an arts centre with live music, theatre, comedy and Howden's very own cinema

The Shire Hall has two hall spaces available to hire and two meeting rooms for small commitee meetings, or support groups.

The Shire Hall is an accessible building with a lift to the first floor and a disabled toilet situated on the lower floor.
